Harden the matching worm material with 45 # steel to HRC4555, or harden 40Cr to HRC5055, and then grind it to a roughness of Ra0.8um using a worm grinder. During normal operation, the wear of the screw elevator is slow. If the wear rate is fast, please consider whether the selection is correct, whether the load is too large, the material of the worm gear, assembly quality, or usage environment.
The material of the worm gear elevator is non-ferrous metal. The worm gear and screw are driven by sliding friction, which generates more heat during operation, leading to thermal expansion between the parts and the elevator seal.
